Here’s what happened at Digital Women LIVE

Digital Women Live with NatWest was held on 4th November 2022 and it was a brilliant day, attended by many people from our community.

We loved seeing so many Digital Women meeting up again, sometimes for the first time in a couple of years, and also meeting people that they’ve only spoken to online.

Taking place at the NatWest Conference Centre in Bishopsgate, London, the day was packed full of brilliant talks, fireside chats, networking opportunities and skills sessions too.

The day started with an introduction from Digital Women founder, Lucy Hall, who introduced the first speaker of the day, Lizzie Parker from NatWest. Lizzie took the audience through a journey of mindset and discussed how we can open up our growth mindsets.

Next up on stage was Katrina Young of KYC Consulting who took us on a hackathon of taking an idea and turning it into a product.

Sydney Samuels of Loop Not Luck took to the stage to share her career journey – including an appearance on Dragons Den when she was 11! – and the part that luck has played in her life.

After a short break, we welcomed Lavinia Osbourne to talk about Blockchain and the coming evolution of digital marketers in web3.

Just before lunch, Lucy Hall spoke to Lauren Ingram of Women of Web3 for an informative fireside chat all about Web3.

After a delicious lunch and some speed networking, we all came back in the afternoon for some exciting skills sessions.

Split across two rooms, our delegates had the option of learning about:

  • Digital Sustainability

  • Social Media Ads

  • Personal Branding

  • Instagram Reels

  • Social Commerce

  • Digital PR

Our final speaker of the day was Indiana Gregg of Wedo – our sponsor of the event. Indiana talked about how we can gain funding for our businesses whilst taking us on an honest and open journey about her career to date.

Thank you to our sponsors for their support:

  • Wedo

  • NatWest

  • Loop Not Luck

  • Loving Social Media

And a massive thank you to everyone who attended the event both in person and via Zoom! It was a fantastic day with a brilliant atmosphere.
