I’m Emma York, a social media trainer, digital marketing specialist and founder of Fresh Approach Digital.I’ve worked in PR and marketing for more than 12 years and have a lifetime of personal and professional experience in the marine industry.Over the years I have adapted my business and skills inline with technology changes and needs of my current and potential new clients. This has seen a shift in my services to providing more training, mentoring and coaching.
First off – What do you love about Digital Women Events?
Seeing my fellow Digital Women friends, meeting new people plus the opportunity to learn and grow.
What does your session focus on and how will attendees benefit?
Instagram Reels can be overwhelming, this fun and interactive session will help to ease that burden with simple and effective tips to creating Reels inline with your marketing objectives.
What will be the key takeaways from your session?
Everyone attending will walk away with a clear understanding of the do’s and don’t to make Reels and tips on how to really engage Instagram users with your content.
What challenges do you feel you may be facing in the coming years with your role / business?
Continual change. Staying on top of the changes and new streams to pass on to clients and customers.
What’s been your best success story to date and why?
I started a weekly Instagram Live in lockdown called Tea & Tips, sharing the latest social media news and updates. I thought I would only be doing a few weeks. Now, I have over 75 episodes, had more than ten guests join me, helped many people understand social media features and gained clients.
