Q: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and your background?
A: Hi, I’m Lucy Griffiths. I’m a bestselling author, serial entrepreneur and founder. I help people turn their knowledge into online courses and diversify their income streams with passive income. Before setting up my business, I was a TV journalist and now I juggle life as a single parent with entrepreneurship.
Q: What inspired you to write your book, “Make Money While You Sleep”?
A: I saw a lot of people struggling to make ends meet and I knew there had to be a better way. I wrote “Make Money While You Sleep” to share my knowledge and help people create multiple revenue streams and secure their financial future, no matter what economic climate we’re in.
Q: Can you tell us more about your session, “Recession-Proof Your Business with Passive Income” at Digital Women Live?
A: In my session, I’ll be sharing practical strategies to help attendees diversify their income streams and create multiple revenue streams. I’ll discuss some of the ways people can create passive income, whether you’re a service or product-based business. I’ll also be sharing some insights and strategies for recession-proofing your business and making money while you sleep.
Q: What do you think is the most important thing for small businesses to do in order to thrive during a recession?
A: Diversifying your income streams and being smarter about ad spend will be key for small businesses during the recession. By creating multiple revenue streams and streamlining and automating your business, you’ll be in a better position to weather the storms of the global recession.
Q: What are some of your predictions for the next 12 months in digital/tech?
A: It’s going to be tough to weather the financial storms in the tech sector, so the small businesses that diversify income streams, streamline and automate will win.
